Our Constitution was designed to create a more perfect Union, and it includes a Bill of Rights (speech/advocacy, association, and petition for redress of grievances), the rights to interstate travel, and counsel. The ABA has carefully studied this national issue “Client Needs in the 21st Century” and concluded the public is not protected when experienced attorneys are required to re-invent the wheel and satisfy state officials at every State boundary line on licensing tests. This is 21st Century censorship and monopoly protection not public protection. Our People, the legal profession, and our Union are stronger United rather than divided. Help us end the separate but equal culture for members of the bar.
